In the last entry I talked about how my outer self had seem to become bleak but that is not the only part of me that I have ignored. My inner self has also been ignored since I have become a mother. This is not because of my son but because I have allowed other things to come first. I am one who thinks I can do all things myself, well I am wrong. By doing this I allowed my inner self/soul to become beaten down to were I feared that I was not enjoying our new son as I should. Many nights after work all I would do was lay on the couch and honestly do nothing more. My eating habits had changed to were I would skip meals as a breastfeeding mother this was not a good thing. Playtime with my son was more just watching him play by himself on the floor with his toys. I knew that something seriously needed to change.
Around two months ago I realized that I needed to really fix myself because not only do I need it for me but for my family. The food for my inner self is the word of God and just being with Him. Before our son I would spend time with my Heavenly Father everyday because this is what I believe to food for my soul. However, once our little man came into our lives this became a rare occasion. So the last week or so I have picked up the word of God which has given my soul a revived sense. Not only do I believe that my soul needs to be healthy but I feel that it is a necessity for my son to see this as well. How will I be able to raise a son if I can't take care of me. My soul is just in need of a makeover as is my outer self.
Not only do we need to worry about our outer self but more importantly we need to worry about our inner self however that may be. We always need to find that peace inside ourselves. This blog is not only about our outer beauty but all beauty that is life.

A New Start
Eight months ago I gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy which also means eight months ago I was set on the bench. Being a new mother I find it very difficult to do things for myself. Most the time when I am shopping it is for my little man or husband. My hair is in a constant pony tail and my favorite fashion are t-shirts with jeans. Most days I am good at just getting foundation with mascara on my face before I am out the door. Over the last several months life is beginning to find its rythme so to speak but everytime I look in the mirror my face seems to have aged. I recently was looking back at pictures of my husband and I when we first married. Oh how young and refreshed I look. These days the ever present dark circles from lack of sleep, split end hair from constant pony tails, and just the dull look of my skin haunt me.
I began to research companies that helped in women feeling beautiful again and also that were in a price range I could afford. I then remembered my mother-in-law was always buying things from Avon and giving them to me as a gift. Every product she gave me was wonderful. So I got out my trusty computer to begin my research in the company. I was amazed by just how wonderful this company was in all that it had to offer a woman like myself. They offered so many different products to help women feel good such as makeup, personal care items, fragrances, and the most important skincare items. I have listed below just a brief overview of what the company had to offer.
Skin Care Line: Avon has had extensive scientific research and innovation done to make sure we are getting the best product.
Beauty products is covered in four wonderful areas lips, eyes, face, and nail products.
Their fragrance line is a world leader in its market. Many of the celebrities sell their own fragrances through Avon. Plus the great part is the fragrances are affordable and not just for women but also men.
Personal Care: Wide range moisture therapy, deoderant, shampoo and conditioner.
Some of their leading beauty brands are Anew, Avon Color, Skin So Soft, Avon Naturals, and Mark

As I was looking I realized that since I was so fond of their product why not sell them as well. I am married to a resident physician, who doesn't make that much and just recently had a baby. Financially this would be a great opportunity to have some extra cash around so that we had a cushion if anything cam up. Also it gives me the opportunity to help women like myself who really need to remember we are just as important as our loved ones. Since I started this regiman I am seeing wonderful results.
